In the video group of people were carrying stones and other tools looting up banks and scavenging 🏧 machines at banks especially WEMA bank. This awful, horrible scene occurred in Ibadan one of the largest city in west Africa. The situation is getting intense by the day, as people can no longer wait for solution to the scarcity of naira notes in Nigeria.
Where did the government got it all wrong with the approach of ensuring that the new naira notes is circulated after the redesigning of it. The people in Ibadan are very hungry, I think they were left without an option and the only option was to storm these banks and loot them all. This is Ibadan, it might be Lagos, edo, delta, imo, abia, Enugu or Ogun state tomorrow. The government needs to act now and get rid of this menace that is ravaging the nation. We might be looking at the emergence of state of emergency for the scarcity of naira notes in Nigeria.
